Singapore host Timor-Leste at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Kallang on Monday at the 2026 ASEAN Championship, hoping to build on their opening-day win. The Lions began their quest for a fifth trophy in the competition with a 2-1 win over Cambodia in their Group A encounter this week.

Muhammad Shawal fired them in front after 22 minutes, but Ouk Sovann equalized for the Angkor Warriors, 10 minutes into the second half.

Substitute Ilhan Fandi came off the bench to score the winner for Singapore in the 12th minute of stoppage time.

Ranked 148th in the world, Gavin Lee's side secured all three points on the opening day and sit in second place in their group.

Vietnam take the top spot by virtue of goal difference after thrashing Timor-Leste 7-0 on the same day.

Timor-Leste, known as the Crocodiles, were handed a baptism of fire on their fifth appearance at the tournament.

Doubles from Do Hoang Hen and Nguyen Dinh Bac coupled with a goal from Nguyen Xuan Son had them 5-0 behind at the break.

But there was more misery to follow for the 201st-ranked minnows in the second half as Dinh Bac brought up his hat-trick while Nguyen Quang Hai added a seventh in the 79th minute.

With that, Timor-Leste remained winless at the ASEAN Championship.

The Lions boast an incredible record in the fixture and come into it as favorites again. Timor-Leste, one of the 10 lowest-ranked teams in the world, were decimated on the opening day and could be headed for another heavy loss here.

    Prediction: Singapore 3-0 Timor-Leste

Tip 1 - Result: Singapore to win

    Tip 2 - Goals over/under 2.5: Over 2.5 goals

Tip 3 - Both teams to score: No
