Six youths who performed dangerous stunts on bike and uploaded those videos on social media were nabbed by Madurai City Police.

The police said that the youths had uploaded some videos of wheeling on motorbikes. The riders had not used helmets while performing dangerous stunts.

Based on the video footage, Madurai City Commissioner of Police, S. Rajenthiran, ordered a probe into the incident.

The police arrested M. Nagaraj (20) of Alangulam and Alagumanickam (20).

Other arrested persons were Mohan Kumar (20) of Ilamanur, Vivek (20) of North Masi Street, Kapilesh (19) of Karuppayoorani and Nanda (22) of South Gate.

Six two-wheelers were seized from the accused. The police imposed a fine of ₹14,000 on them under various provisions of Motor Vehicles Act.
