On July 12, 2026, BTS' Jungkook posted a reel on his Instagram account. The video ran for 3 minutes and 41 seconds and featured the song Love and Tears by GENER8ION and Yannis. In the post, he indicated that this format would serve as his new approach to sharing song recommendations going forward.

The reel included a visible CapCut watermark at the end. This watermark revealed CapCut account ID 5467943054, along with an associated username that appeared as user166796278155 at the time of posting. The appearance of these details made BTS' Jungkook's personal CapCut editing account identifiable to viewers who noticed the watermark.

After the reel circulated, Jungkook updated the CapCut account. He changed the username to dykjungkook? (Do you know Jungkook?) He added a bio that read Jungkook of BTS. The account recorded a rapid increase in followers. Jungkook also posted a comment on the Instagram Reel acknowledging the CapCut reveal. He said:

This has left fans in stitches, as in earlier instances, Jungkook had shared details connected to personal accounts. In 2023, he revealed his TikTok account after sharing a link to one of his video clips. On July 15, 2025, details connected to his Instagram account surfaced during a live broadcast that also had fellow BTS members Taehyung and RM. In separate livestreamed gaming sessions, he had previously made his gaming-related email address visible.

Viewers connected the latest occurrence to the pattern of prior disclosures involving other platforms and accounts. The sequence of events received widespread attention across the social media platform X.

The user on X shared the video and said:

Several fans chimed in and shared their thoughts on the same. Fans also started speculating about Jungkook's Twitter account, and they also found one account with the same username, dykjungkook. The account was created in 2015. However, there is no confirmation whether it's his account.

More fans joined and added their comments on X. Some suggested playfully teasing him like the previous TikTok username Ian.

During the ARIRANG shows in Munich, several Jungkook moments from day 1 and day 2 circulated widely online. On Day 1, clips of him singing the German phrase "Du bist gut genug" in the ending ment and fans singing along with him spread quickly. On day 2, videos of him and Taehyung playing soccer on stage went viral.

In the day 1 ending ment, BTS' Jungkook said he wanted to do something and started singing "Du bist gut genug." He explained that the song is very popular in Germany, prompting him to sing it with everyone present.

    He noted:

    He further stated:

For his day 2 ending moment, BTS' Jungkook remarked that it may have been due to Jin's earlier comment, but hearing the crowd say "I love you" felt nice, and he gave a thumbs-up. He then said:

He then sang "ARMY ist gut genug" (ARMY, you're good enough). He thanked everyone again.

BTS will next perform two shows for their tour on July 17 and 18 in Saint-Denis, France, at the Stade de France. The next day, on July 19, the group will co-headline the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final halftime show with Shakira, Justin Bieber, and Madonna.
