Spain goalkeeper Unai Simon walked away with the Golden Glove at the FIFA World Cup 2026 following his heroics that helped his nation secure its second title.
Spain beat Argentina 1-0 in the final played at the New York/New Jersey Stadium on Sunday, with Ferran Torres grabbing the winner in the 106th minute.
Unai Simon kept seven clean sheets and conceded just one goal throughout the course of the tournament.
The winner of the award is not solely based on clean sheets but rather on overall performance, including the number of saves, consistency and so on.
The prize was previously known as the Yashin Award and was not handed out before 1994.
