Love him or hate him, there will never be another Vince McMahon. After the recent developments in the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against the former WWE chairman, there have been rampant speculations about his return to the company. Amid this, a fresh report sheds some light on the matter.

The lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon and the company just moved out of federal court and is heading towards private arbitration. Grant, McMahon, and WWE jointly filed a voluntary dismissal with prejudice in the U.S. District Court of Connecticut, ending the public trial.

Meanwhile, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio has added to his previous comments and now spoken about a secret return for Vince McMahon to the global juggernaut. Meltzer said, owing to McMahon's current situation, he would likely accept a shadow role behind the scenes without the company making a big announcement or giving him an official title or any real control.

Meltzer further added that even if the former WWE chairman was to return to the company in such a limited role and without much publicity, he would still consider it a victory. One that he truly needs right now, felt the wrestling insider.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio had addressed the topic of Vince McMahon's return earlier as well.

He felt that even if TKO should ask the former chairman to return to the company, McMahon would definitely not take either Nick Khan's place calling the shots or Triple H's position as chief booker.

Meltzer also noted that a return for McMahon to the fold wouldn't shock him at all, and it would likely be in a limited capacity, if at all.

Pro wrestling wouldn't be where it is today without WWE's patron and figurehead Vince McMahon. Whether he makes a return to the company he led so vociferously once remains to be seen.
