Journalist Megyn Kelly criticized Travis Kelce's wife, Taylor Swift, while discussing the "Love Story" singer's reported fallout with Blake Lively. Kelly discussed the matter during an appearance on "Piers Morgan Uncensored" on Thursday.

The conversation started when host Piers Morgan brought up Swift's friendship with Lively and the legal dispute involving Justin Baldoni. Morgan joked that anyone who falls out with Swift ends up "in Siberia."

Kelly agreed. She said Lively's leaked text messages referring to Swift as her "dragon" suggested that the Hollywood believed she could direct Swift's actions.

She then claimed Swift should be thankful she was not drawn further into the legal battle.

Kelly then alleged Swift sided with her friend without fully understanding the situation.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, who were once close to Taylor Swift, were not invited to the wedding at $20-million worth wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3.

Reportedly, the friendship fractured during the legal battle stemming from the movie, "It Ends With Us."

The controversy started in December 2024, when Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios. She alleged sexual harassment, a hostile work environment, and claimed Baldoni’s PR team engineered a smear campaign to ruin her reputation during the summer press tour.

On Jan. 16, 2025, Baldoni filed a $400 million defamation countersuit against Lively and Reynolds.

In the court documents, Baldoni’s team heavily featured text messages from Lively. It was revealed that Lively referred to Ryan Reynolds and a "megacelebrity friend" named "Taylor Swift" as her "dragons" and her "most trusted partners."

Baldoni argued that Lively weaponized Swift's influence to pressure him into accepting her creative overrules on the film.

On May 9, 2025, after Lively added Swift to her potential witness list, Baldoni’s attorney issued a legal subpoena to the pop icon. The lawyer demanded documents and tried to force Swift to testify.

But Swift's spokesperson pushed back in June 2025.

Although the subpoena was dropped, the court allowed Baldoni's legal team to access private text messages, which were exchanged between Lively and Swift.

Those messages were unsealed in early 2026 as part of the ongoing legal proceedings.

Lively referred to Baldoni as the "doofus director of my movie" in one exchange with Taylor Swift, according to court documents.

Baldoni's legal team also claimed Lively asked Taylor Swift in April 2023 to support her revised script for the "It Ends With Us" before reading it. The lawyers also stated that the singer backed Lively.

The filings also say that after Swift supported Lively's revised script for "It Ends With Us."

The filings also included text messages between Lively and Taylor Swift from December 2024, before The New York Times published an article titled, "We Can Bury Anyone’: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine." It was written by investigative reporters Megan Twohey, Mike McIntire, and Julie Tate.

The article heavily detailed Blake Lively's initial workplace misconduct complaints and alleged that Baldoni, along with his production partners and a crisis management team, had actively deployed social media campaigns to preemptively damage her reputation.

Referring to the article, Swift texted Lively, according to the court documents.

Taylor Swift and Blake Lively were last spotted together on Oct. 11, 2024. They went for a dinner date with Travis Kelce and Ryan Reynolds at The Corner Store in New York City’s Soho neighborhood.
