Team India’s athletes will wear performance and lifestyle apparel designed for comfort, functionality and ease of movement at four major multi-sport events in 2026, including the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and the Asian Games in Japan.
JSW Inspire will develop and supply the kits as the Indian contingent’s official sports performance and lifestyle partner following the extension of its agreement with the Indian Olympic Association.
The collection has been designed for use during training, competition, travel and recovery, with the requirements of elite athletes at the centre of the apparel. The kits are aimed at providing athletes with comfort and freedom of movement while also combining performance-oriented features with a distinct Team India identity.
Long-distance runner Parul Chaudhary said apparel can make a difference to athletes who spend long hours training, travelling and competing.
“JSW Inspire combines comfort, functionality and style in a way that allows us to stay completely focused on the task at hand. Wearing the Team India kit is always an emotional moment, and knowing it has been thoughtfully designed for the needs of athletes makes that experience even more special,” she said.
Boxer Preeti Sai Pawar also highlighted the importance of apparel that can adapt to the demands of elite sport.
“Whether during training or recovery, the apparel provides the comfort and confidence we need,” she said.
The kits will be worn at the Commonwealth Games, scheduled from July 23 to August 2, and the Asian Games, to be held in Japan from September 19 to October 4.

IOA president PT Usha said: “The JSW Group has been a strong pillar in supporting India’s Olympic movement over the years. We thank the JSW Group for their support to Indian sport and look forward to continuing this meaningful partnership.”
Team India merchandise will be available on the JSW Inspire website from July 15 and on Myntra and Ajio from July 23.
