Telangana Civil Supplies Department officers were directed to complete eKYC of all beneficiaries of the National Food Security Act (NFSA) ration card within 15 days. Intensive special drives and eKYC camps at all Fair Price Shops to achieve this for State ration card holders too.
Department Commissioner Stephen Raveendra held a review meeting with the officers of Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medchal Malkajgiri, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Nizamabad and Kumuram Bheem Asifabad districts to review the progress of Public Distribution System (PDS) eKYC on Wednesday.
He directed the officials to deploy adequate deployment of staff during the special drives to ensure that all pending beneficiaries are covered within the stipulated timeline.
Additional Director, District Civil Supplies Officers (DCSOs), Assistant Civil Supplies Officers (ACSOs), NIC officers of the respective districts and others attended the meeting.
