The Telangana Drugs Control Administration (DCA) raided the clinic of an unqualified medical practitioner in Khammam district and seized medicines worth around ₹10,000 that were allegedly stocked illegally for sale. The raid was carried out on Thursday (July 16, 2026) at Burda Raghavapuram village in Enkoor mandal.

    According to the DCA, officials raided the premises of Shaik Ameer, who was allegedly practising medicine without the required qualifications at a clinic located in the village. During the inspection, officials found 11 varieties of medicines that had been stocked illegally for sale and seized the stock. Several antibiotics were among the medicines recovered from the clinic, as per a note.
