Dan Hooker has a tough fight coming up next as he faces the highly-rated French star Salahdine Parnasse.
The 28-year-old Parnasse is one of the hottest prospects in the MMA world, and he makes his UFC debut in the main event of the Paris card in September.
Hooker is a tough nut to crack, but he’s been getting all sorts of threats from the French fans. ‘The Hangman’ on Submission Radio brought up the threats, and added that he didn’t get these when he faced another Frenchman, Benoit Saint Denis:

When asked about what the threats have been, Hooker added some more details:

Salahdine Parnasse’s last fight was an impressive win over Kenneth Cross at MVP MMA 1, and many expect him to put on a performance in his UFC debut.
However, Hooker is aiming to play spoilsport in Paris. The Kiwi, in the same interview, planned to make an example out of Parnasse:
Hooker also didn’t think the UFC planned to set him up against a tough opponent, but admitted that he was “dumb” enough to take on the fight:
However, the Kiwi claimed this was a “win-win” situation for the UFC. He added that if Parnasse won, the UFC would have a great star on their hands, but if he won, this could be the start of a winning streak.
