The Odyssey ticket prices remain unchanged

Advance bookings for The Odyssey opened in India on June 8, more than a month before the film arrived in theatres. From the very beginning, ticket prices grabbed attention because of the wide range, starting from around Rs 150 and going up to nearly Rs 3,400 for premium formats.

Its been five days after release, those premium prices have largely remained the same.

In Mumbai, some of the highest ticket prices are still being charged at premium multiplexes. Recliner Max seats at Miraj Cinemas IMAX, Wadala are priced at Rs 2,800, while recliner seats at PVR ICON, Phoenix Palladium, Lower Parel are available for around Rs 2,300.




In Delhi-NCR, premium tickets at PVR IMAX with Laser, Priya continue to cost around Rs 2,100. Moviegoers in Bengaluru are also paying premium rates, with ticket prices at popular multiplexes ranging between Rs 1,800 and Rs 2,100. Premium pricing has similarly continued in cities such as Hyderabad, Pune, and Kochi, especially for IMAX and luxury seating formats.





Despite the high prices, the film continues to attract audiences, particularly those looking to experience Christopher Nolan's latest epic on the biggest screens available.

The Odyssey strong box office run continues

The high ticket prices have not slowed the film's momentum at the Indian box office.

According to Sacnilk, The Odyssey earned an estimated Rs 8.35 crore on Day 5, taking its total India net collection to approximately Rs 77.65 crore.

The film has already delivered Christopher Nolan's biggest opening day in India, surpassing the first-day collections of his previous films, including Dunkirk, Tenet, Oppenheimer, and Interstellar.

It has also emerged as the highest-grossing IMAX release in India, underlining the audience's preference for experiencing the film in premium formats. With collections continuing to remain steady, trade analysts expect the film to cross the Rs 100 crore India net milestone in the coming days.

Released with an 'A' certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), the film is currently screening nationwide in 2D, IMAX 2D, and 4DX formats across major cinema chains.
