The Vision sent another violent message to the WWE locker room on the go-home episode of RAW before SummerSlam. Bron Breakker and Austin Theory not only defeated Alpha Academy in tag team action but also left Otis laid out following a vicious post-match assault.
Tonight, the match started with Otis and Bron Breakker locking up. Otis quickly overpowered the former Intercontinental Champion, forcing Breakker to tag in Austin Theory. The Alpha Academy maintained early momentum when Akira Tozawa executed a hurricanrana on Theory. However, a ringside distraction by Maxxine Dupri allowed The Vision to take control of the bout. Breakker immediately capitalized with a cheap shot on Tozawa behind the referee's back.
WWE World Tag Team Champions isolated Tozawa for several minutes. Breakker connected with a German suplex and followed it up with a military press dropped directly into double knees. Theory ensured the isolation continued by knocking Otis off the ring apron.
Tozawa eventually made the hot tag. Otis cleared the ring with a series of clotheslines and hit a corner splash on both opponents. He then hit his signature Caterpillar Splash on Breakker. The momentum shifted back when Tozawa attempted a senton on Theory, who countered by getting his knees up. On the outside, Breakker drove Otis hard into the ring post. Back inside the ring, the second-generation star cut Tozawa in half with a Spear to secure the pinfall victory for The Vision.
The damage did not end there, as after the bell, Breakker and Theory continued attacking the defeated Tozawa. Seeing his partner being assaulted, Otis stormed back into the ring and briefly cleared out both members of The Vision.
Looking to end the fight once and for all, Otis climbed to the top rope. Before he could launch his attack, former WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri appeared and distracted her former Alpha Academy teammate. Otis hesitated for a split second, allowing The Vision to capitalize.
Breakker and Theory pulled Otis off the ropes before driving him into the mat with a crushing powerbomb. Theory then grabbed a steel chair and blasted Otis across the head, leaving the powerhouse motionless in the ring.
The show came to a close with Breakker, Theory, and Maxxine Dupri standing over the fallen members of Alpha Academy. It was another dominant statement from The Vision on WWE RAW.
It remains to be seen when Otis returns to the ring after the brutal beatdown.
