Team India skipper Shreyas Iyer admitted that the Men in Blue might make a few changes to their playing XI for the third T20I against Zimbabwe in Harare on Sunday, July 26. Shreyas made the comment in the context of fast bowler Prince Yadav suffering an injury during the second T20I in Harare on Saturday.

India beat Zimbabwe by 90 runs in the second T20I to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Shreyas thus registered his first series win as captain after suffering losses in Ireland and England. While India put up a terrific all-round effort, Prince walked off the field clutching his hamstring after bowling just 1.2 overs in which he even claimed two wickets.

Asked about India's playing XI for the third and final T20I of the series in Harare on Sunday, Shreyas commented (via Cricbuzz):

Prince claimed the big wickets of Ben Curran (1) and Zimbabwe skipper Sikandar Raza (0) before being forced to walk off the field. India have had their fair share of injury woes of late. Ravi Bishnoi replaced Varun Chakravarthy for the Zimbabwe T20Is after the latter failed to recover from a hamstring injury.

Washington Sundar and Harshit Rana also picked up hamstring injuries during the white-ball tour of England. Jasprit Bumrah missed the third ODI against England due to fitness issues, while skipper Shubman Gill also suffered from cramps. All-rounder Hardik Pandya is also recovering from a quadriceps sprain.

Sent into bat by Zimbabwe in the second T20I, India posted a healthy total of 219-5 on the board. Ishan Kishan top-scored with 81 off 44 balls, while Tilak Varma contributed 60* off just 29 deliveries. Praising the duo, India's skipper said:

Chasing 220, Zimbabwe were bowled out for 129 as Abhishek Sharma claimed 3-17, while Prince and debutant Yash Thakur claimed two wickets each.
