At least three persons, including two students and a bus driver, were injured after the bus they were travelling in rammed into the rear of a stationary lorry on National Highway-44 near Yellampeta in Medchal on Saturday morning.
The accident was reported while the school bus was on its way to pick up students. The driver reportedly failed to notice the stationary lorry ahead and the impact left two students and the driver injured. The front portion of the bus was extensively damaged.
On receiving information, local police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured students to a nearby hospital for treatment. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
