AEW President Tony Khan made a major announcement concerning a WWE veteran's son. Sting retired from pro wrestling at Revolution 2024 after having a great career in WCW, WWE, and AEW. He and Darby Allin defeated the Young Bucks in the farewell match. Currently, his son, Steven Borden, is looking to carry his legacy forward.

The WWE Hall of Famer's son was trained by Darby Allin for a couple of years. Over the past few months, Steven Borden has been wrestling dark matches ahead of Dynamite. Earlier, reports claimed that he might already be under an AEW contract. Tony might have accidentally confirmed the report.

While speaking on Yahoo Finance, Tony Khan stated AEW has been training Steven Borden, and he wrestles dark matches. He also claimed Steven will be a fantastic star down the line.

During Sting's final AEW match, his sons, Steven and Garrett Borden, performed some moves on the Young Bucks. While speaking with TMZ's Inside the Ring, Tony Khan said that he was impressed with Steven Borden at Revolution 2024.

It will be interesting to see what is next for the WWE Hall of Famer's son.
