With the offseason coming to an end, Mike Vrabel is gearing up for year 2 with the New England Patriots. Following a Super Bowl appearance in his debut campaign last season, the expectations are high for him and his team.
On Friday, a clip of the Patriots coach made the rounds on social media. It was a video of him addressing the rookies during a team meeting. Vrabel was seen highlighting the importance of respecting staff members in the facility.

However, fans on social media were not impressed with Vrabel's speech following his own offseason drama and trolled him in the comments.
Back in April, photos of Mike Vrabel with NFL insider Dianna Russini at a private resort in Sedona made headlines. This started rumors about an alleged extramarital affair. However, they initially denied the allegations.
Later on, more pictures of the two surfaced, dating back to as early as 2020. This intensified the backlash, resulting in Russini's resignation from her position at The Athletic. Vrabel, on the other hand, held a press conference to address the situation and also reveal his decision to seek counselling.
On Friday, Robert Kraft appeared on ESPN's "First Take." During the interview, he was questioned about the offseason drama involving Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini.
The Patriots owner cleared the air, stating that despite the drama, there is no impact on Vrabel's job security. He also heaped praise on the coach for his talent and his achievements so far with the franchise.
The Patriots kick off the 2026 campaign with a Week 1 showdown on the road against their 2025 Super Bowl rivals, the Seahawks, on Sept. 9.
