Jannik Sinner fans rallied behind him after an Italian journalist questioned his decision to reside in Monaco. Sinner moved to Monte Carlo in 2020 when he was only 18 years old. The World No.1 moved to Monaco for better training facilities and logistical advantages.

At that time, he was training under at Riccardo Piatti's tennis center in Bordighera, a town only a few minutes away from Monaco. The country is home to multiple elite athletes, including Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, Lewis Hamilton, Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, and Alexander Zverev.

However, Sinner's decision has received constant backlash, with Italian media questioning his choice. Recently, Italian journalists Botteri and Luca Sommi asked why the tennis star, who earns around €70 million annually, does not live in his home country. They suggested that Sinner's move was because of the tax advantages the country offers.

However, the journalist's criticism did not land well with fans, one of whom referred to the question as 'stupid."

Another fan opined that Sinner's financial decisions are nobody else's business and called out the habit of judging other people's finances and wrote:
