Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, were arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service in Miami, on July 18, 2026, following a request from the United Kingdom. The arrests are connected to an ongoing criminal case that is prosecuted by the Crown Prosecution Service.

According to the CPS, the additional charges stem from a new file of evidence submitted by Bedfordshire Police, involving four additional alleged victims. The CPS has published an official statement on their website.

The charges on Andrew Tate include seven additional counts of r*pe, three counts of arranging trafficking for s**ual exploitation, three counts of assault that includes bodily harm, and 19 offences related to having indecent media of a child and extreme p*rnography.

Meanwhile, his brother faces two counts of r*pe, one count of s**ual assault, and three counts on arrangements for s*x trafficking.

The CPS stated that these offences allegedly took place between July 2010 and August 2017. They also added that these charges doesn't mean that the brothers have been found guilty yet. The clip of Andrew and Tristan Tate being arrested in Miami have since gone viral across social meda platforms.

Interestingly, just months before his arrest in Miami, Andrew Tate suggested that he could end up in jail because of his ongoing legal battles. In a cryptic X post, the 39-year-old influencer claimed that his life has been destroyed over the past five years. He also stated that he wouldn't accept the deals offered to him that could ultimately lead to imprisonment.

Before their arrest in the United States, Andrew and Tristan had also faced legal restrictions in Romania. In 2023, they were placed under house arrest in Bucharest while the authorities were investigating their allegations. They remained under house arrest for several months before the measure was replaced with judicial supervision.
