Spain will look to hold the world and European titles at the same time when it takes on Argentina in the FIFA World Cup 2026 final at the New York/New Jersey Stadium on Sunday.
La Roja beat France 2-0 in the semifinal while Argentina edged England to book its place in the summit clash.
Spain has produced the tournament’s most complete campaign. Seven matches, six clean sheets, only one goal conceded and, perhaps most remarkably, not a single minute spent trailing.
This will be only the second time Spain has reached the final of the World Cup. Its previous appearance came in 2010, when it beat Netherlands 1-0 in extra time.
Andrés Iniesta grabbed the winner in th 116th minute to secure Spain’s first-ever World Cup title.
