With Streamer University 2026, Kai Cenat has returned to livestreaming for the first time since his viral Mafiathon 3 subathon concluded on September 30, 2025. On July 6, 2026, Kai went live on Twitch and YouTube to announce the students and professors for the 2026 SU class. With over one million applications, 120 students made it through.

While some of the students and professors who were selected are prominent names in the industry, such as Jasontheween, Sketch, Marlon, Ludwig, Stable Ronaldo, Pokimane, and more, a few of Kai Cenat's streaming associates, interestingly, did not make the cut.

17-year-old Twitch creator RaKai, who went viral at Streamer University 2025, was not selected for the 2026 edition. RaKai initially made waves in 2024's Mafiathon 2, where he was introduced as Kai Cenat's "son." Since then, he has become one of Twitch's most popular creators, averaging 40,000 viewers per stream, with over 2.4 million followers.

After the selections were revealed, RaKai's fellow Clover Boys member, streamer Tylil James, revealed that the 17-year-old was "in his blanket, crying" after not getting picked for the SU 2026 batch:

Speaking of Tylil James, the 26-year-old New York native was also not selected despite being a frequent Kai Cenat collaborator and an instrumental member of the Mafiathon 3 cast. Notably, other members of the Clover Boys, including Tota, Dezz, Punga, Ray, and Reggie, were not selected for Streamer University 2026 either.

Another streamer who missed out this time is Daryl "DDG," who, upon finding out that he didn't get in, said that Kai needs him for "clips":

LosPollosTV jokingly lamented being rejected from Kai Cenat's Streamer University after supposedly throwing a huge party for the occasion. However, when a viewer pointed out that applicants needed to submit an application, Los seemed confused, exposing the fact that he never applied in the first place.

After all 120 students were revealed, Kai Cenat hinted at a mystery list of alumni who would be joining the 2026 batch as the "icing on top":

This means that streamers from the 2025 SU batch, including RaKai, DDG, and Tylil, could be making a return.
