The FIFA World Cup 2026 is set for a blockbuster business end with just eight teams remaining in the fray, from the 48 that started the tournament.

    When will yellow cards be cancelled in FIFA World Cup 2026?

    According to FIFA regulations, players are required to serve a one-match ban if they are shown two yellow cards in two different matches. In previous editions, yellow cards were cancelled after the quarterfinal stage.

    However, this time around, owing to the extra knockout round, single yellow cards will be wiped after the group stage and again after the quarterfinals.
