Deebo Samuel is dangerously close to missing the opportunity to start training camp with a team. The former 49ers wide receiver is unsigned, although he has not appeared to have given up. Some critics have called out the wide receiver over his unemployment, including Emmanuel Acho.

Acho called Samuel a "glorified mascot," according to Samuel. The comment didn't land with a laugh, but a thud, as the wide receiver called out the talking head on social media. In a post on X on Tuesday, Samuel lashed out at Acho and tagged him, going after Acho's playing career.

Acho has extended his olive branch, and fans will wait to see if Deebo Samuel accepts the apology. Based on how quickly things have developed, a response might not take long.
