France marched into a third straight FIFA World Cup semifinal after beating Morocco 2-0 in their quarterfinal clash at the Boston Stadium on Thursday.
Kylian Mbappe had a penalty saved by Yassin Bounou in the first half but made amends by finding the back of the net from the edge of the box in the 60th minute.
The lead was doubled six minutes later with Ousmane Dembele burying the ball into the bottom right corner from just outside the area.
France will take on the winner of the second quarterfinal between Spain and Belgium, which will be played at the Los Angeles Stadium on July 10.
If it advances, France can face any of Norway, England, Argentina or Switzerland in the final.
