Switzerland and Colombia will battle to become the final team to secure a place in the FIFA World Cup 2026 quarterfinals when they clash at BC Place in Vancouver on Tuesday.

The Swiss beat Algeria 2-0 in the Round of 32, while Colombia edged past Ghana to advance.
The winner of this tie will take on Argentina in the quarterfinals. Argentina beat Egypt 3-2 in the Round of 16.
Johan Manzambi is not in the Switzerland squad to face Colombia as he picked up an injury during training on Monday.
The 20-year-old has been a vital cog for the Swiss this tournament, recording three goals and two assists in four appearances.
“He is a very precious and important player for us; he has been constantly improving his performance. He is a team player. He’s not only a player that you like to watch… he is an all-rounder. He has many qualities, and there is still so much potential in him,” Swiss head coach Murat Yakin said ahead of the match.
“We are very happy with him, and we hope that he can be on the pitch tomorrow. We will do everything that it takes to get him back in shape,” he added.
