A WWE champion appears to have confirmed their in-ring appearance for SummerSlam. The premium live event is set to take place at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
During a recent interview with KARE 11, WWE Women's United States Champion Tiffany Stratton was asked about SummerSlam taking place in her hometown of Minnesota. She noted that the PLE would be like a homecoming for her. The 27-year-old pointed out that she had wrestled only once in Minnesota, and the match was very short.
Tiffany Stratton subtly confirmed that she would be in action at WWE SummerSlam by stating that The Biggest Party of the Summer would be a massive opportunity for her and it would be her first big match in Minnesota. The SmackDown star added that she was excited for SummerSlam, and it was her favorite premium live event.

Tiffany Stratton was in action at the most recent premium live event. She successfully defended the WWE Women's United States Championship against Jade Cargill at Night of Champions, thanks to a little help from Charlotte Flair. It will be interesting to see who challenges her for the gold next.
In a recent interview with Maxx Fuller, Tiffany Stratton stated that she might pitch for a character that she wanted to portray during her time in WWE NXT.
Stratton opined that Shawn Michaels did not go ahead with her pitch of being a "Daddy’s Little Rich Girl" on the developmental brand because they did not have anyone to portray the character of her "daddy." However, The Buff Barbie noted that it could happen on WWE SmackDown.
Tiffany Stratton has been an integral part of the blue brand since her arrival on the main roster. It remains to be seen if there will be a major change in her on-screen persona.
