A 25-year-old youth allegedly died by suicide at his house in Racharla Gollapalli village of Rajanna Sircilla district in the early hours of Thursday (July 23, 2026), leaving behind a note purportedly written on an Enumeration Form used for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

The deceased, identified as Vamshi, a wall painter, reportedly mentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name in the note.

The tragic incident sent shockwaves through the village, leaving his family members devastated.

He reportedly had an argument with his mother on Wednesday night, police added. “The mobile phone of the deceased is yet to be recovered. We are investigating the authenticity of the purported note,” a police officer said, adding a detailed investigation was underway to ascertain the circumstances that led to his death.
